Role

As the Team Manager you will be part of the Final Inspection Team and will report to the Section Head - Final Inspection
The purpose of your role will be to ensure defect free vehicle Delivery to Dispatch Section.

A purpose driven role for you

Inspection of 100% vehicles as per defined SOP and Acceptance Quality Level.
• Monitoring Test riders’ wise issues
• Taking Improvement actions
Defined manpower deployment Line wise
• Co-ordination for Man-power availability as per defined Productivity chart.
Maintaining discipline and consistent output of the Test riders
• Test riders Output monitoring.
• Counselling and trainings for improvement
Timely clearance of the vehicles after Final inspection.
Co-ordination with the Shift wise counter parts Frame assembly/PPC/OBL for smooth vehicles clearance from Final inspection
Maintaining 5s, Safety and TPM culture in Department
• Conducting Safety Meetings, Various Audits of the Department
• Carrying out regular maintenance of equipment’s and infrastructure

A Day in the life

To plan, coordinate and execute the activities in the Final Inspection area in order to Produce the First Time right Quality

Academic Qualification & Experience

Diploma / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
Min 03-05 year experience in Manufacturing plant in 2 Wheeler industry

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1.MS Office, SAP .
3. Understanding of Quality Systems , Usage of QC Tools , PFMEA , PPAP, Why Why Analysis etc.
4. Through Knowledge of Drawings , GD&T.

Behavioural Skills

1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills
4. Behavioral Based Safety Approach
5. Planning and decision making.
