Role

The role will act as a product custodian from concept to Industrialization of motorcycles and scooters and its Lifecycle thereafter.

A purpose driven role for you

Analysing evolving customer requirements, Industry and Technology trends and translating them into Products and solutions which deliver on the Market share ambitions of Hero MotoCorp across the world
Support in making viable Business case for models and solutions
Create one-voice on the Product positioning, Competitiveness, Pricing, Volumes among the various internal stakeholders
Ensure Product stays true to the Concept Finalized throughout the development cycle
Support market research for the product changes

A Day in the life

Making Product Concepts and Target Finalization for the model
Regular co-ordination with Key stakeholders to ensure Product deliverables are meet throughout development stage
Defining market research requirements and identify customers’ unmet needs. Coordinate with the research group.
Ensuring Product delivers differentiated value to the customer and at the same time meets the Profitability targets of the Organization
Making meaning full trade-off between Product request and technical feasibility without diluting the competitiveness
Continuously motivate Cross Functional teams to deliver on the Product Promise

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.tech or MBA
Minimum 3 years Hands on Experience in Product Planning or New Product Development, Product Management or Product strategy or in Sales and Marketing, in an automotive firm

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Must be from Automotive background (Atleast 2 years of Automotive experience)
Should be currently working in Product Planning/Product Strategy or Sales/Marketing functions
Should be skilled and confident in two wheeler riding
