Buyer-Supply Chain Operation
A purpose driven role for you
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
1. Production Alignment: Execute SCM interface activities to ensure on-time delivery as per production plan sequences.
2. Efficiency Optimization: Optimize production capacity at Supply Chain Partners (SCPs) through e-Material flow and logistics resource planning.
3. Continuous Improvement: Implement incremental improvements in product quality, reliability, and delivery to reduce material and logistics costs.
A Day in the life
You will be working on day-to-day basis on following:
1.Scheduling & Procurement: Managing monthly scheduling, daily adherence, and parts procurement as per the CP plan.
2.Quality Audits: Conducting supplier quality audits and ensuring the closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
3.Inventory & Logistics: Planning inventory norms and optimizing truck requirements based on vehicle production.
4.New Model Readiness: Arranging parts for PP1/PP2 lots and maintaining zero obsolescence during model changeovers.
5.Stakeholder Coordination: Working with Production Planning, Warehousing, and SQA teams to resolve daily operational issues.
6.Risk Mitigation: Addressing supplier complexities such as industrial relations (IR) issues and skilled labor shortages.
7.Stock Management: Collaborating with external partners for RM planning, stock updates, and capacity closure.
Academic Qualification & Experience
1. Education: B.Tech / B.E.
2. Experience: 4 Years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
1.Problem Solving: Proficiency in applying 7 QC Tools for process improvement.
2.e-Material Flow: Understanding of electronic material flow and supply chain interfaces.
3.Logistics Planning: Skills in resource optimization and inventory turn-off ratio monitoring.
4.Office Productivity: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
5.4M Audit Knowledge: Familiarity with 4M audits for part readiness and ramp-up.
Behavioural Skills
1.Assertiveness: Ability to drive results and communicate firmly with suppliers.
2.Verbal Communication: Strong verbal skills for daily coordination with internal teams.
3.Written Communication: Professional writing skills for audit reporting and CAPA tracking.
4.Adaptability: Ability to manage frequent changes in model-mix and demand fluctuations.
5.Collaborative Approach: Working effectively within an operating network of PPC, SQA, and external partners.
