Buyer MRO Consumables & Plant Admin

A purpose driven role for you

Your responsbilities will include but not limited to-
1. Conversion of PR-PO (A & B Class Items)
2. Releasing schedules and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely supplies of regular items
3. Delivery Follow-up
4. Achieving cost saving
5. Ensuring departmental SOP’s & Working as per defined DOA

A Day in the life

You will be working on day-to-day basis on following-
1. Timely conversion of PR-PO Within 30 Days, Query Resolution, Availing quotes from suppliers, Planning, Comparative statement preparation
2. Comparative preparation& submission for approval
3. Releasing the monthly schedules as per approved SOB
4. Resolution of invoice gate entry related issues
5. Coordination with logistics service provider
6. Supply performance monitoring
7. Ensure timely material delivery against committed dates, Ensure material is supplied by supplier on time
8. Maintaining records of comparatives submitted for approval and approved comparatives in SAP Portal

Academic Qualification & Experience

1. BTECH / Diploma in Mechanical /Electrical/ Electronics
2. In case of BTECH – 0-9 years In Indirect & MRO area
In case of Diploma - 6-15 years In Indirect & MRO area

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Worked in Indirect & MRO, Negotiation
2. communications skills
3. MS Excel and MS Office
4. SAP MM Module transactions
5. Knowledge of contracts

Behavioural Skills

1. Able to deliver result & build relations
