Role

Team Manager - Safety & Environment

A purpose driven role for you

Responsible for Hazard identification & Rectification, Operation of Fire Protection systems, Safety audits, Inspection, Training to team members, Environmental facilities operation as per norms, Support in regulatory compliances and Implementation of Safety and Environment management system.

A Day in the life

Safety Inspections and Audits.
Hazard communication and rectification.
Incident analysis and Investigation
Safety Committee meetings
Corrective and preventive actions follow up.
Preparation of work standards and monitoring of Work environment
Daily / Monthly MIS and Support in SHE Pillar Activities
Ensure compliance as per plan / calendar as end user.
Maintenance of register.
Maintaining of documents and records
Inspection, testing and examination of statutory equipment as per plan,
Operation and maintenance of Fire Pump house, Fire Hydrant System, Fire Extinguishers , Fire Detection and flooding system
Regular Fire Drill and Mock drill exercises as per On Site Emergency Plan.
Fire Prevention Activities.
Contract Worker Safety
Safety induction trainings
Safety talk
Truck drivers safety training
Fire safety training
Construction safety training
Safety One points lessons
Organise safety training activities as per plan
Analysis & monitoring as per plan.
Rain Water Harvesting system operation and maintenance.
Hazardous Waste disposal documentation
Audit of Environmental facilities.
Operation of Maint & Keep of Environment Facility

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.Tech/B.E with 6-7 year experience in the field of EHS Management
Diploma / Degree in Engineering / Science.
Post Diploma in Industrial Safety

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Qualified Safety Officer Course as per law & knowledge of Safety & Environment activities

Behavioural Skills

Planning and Execution, Organizing, Good communication & presentation skills
