Role

As a TM/Line In charge , you will be a part of Steel phase department and will report to Section Head of Steel Phase .Your role will be: 
To manage day-to-day activities to achieve production plan in machine shop steel phase with zero defect pass to customer at minimum operating cost.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key reponsibilities will include, but not limited to
1. Meet Daily Production Target of Engine components produced in Steel phase with optimum utilization of resources.
-Model wise plan adherence
-Warranty PPM target adherence
-MI defect pass to internal customer target adherence
2. Achieve manufacturing variable cost as per target
-Rejection cost
-Tool cost
-Consumable cost
3. Achieve TPM step adherence
-JH activity
-CLRI score
-JH board score
-JH step clearance
4. Ensure 100 % safety ( 0 LTI , 0 RLTI , 0 First Aid)
-Safety solution meeting
-Near miss capturing
-Abnormality elimination (Yellow tagging)
5. Build an engaged, inclusive and diverse culture with the right future fit organization to ensure we build leaders of tomorrow
-Development of Training Infrastructure & System Gender Diversity : % Suggestion (Nos/person/year)

To manage day-to-day activities to achieve production plan in machine shop steel phase with zero defect pass to customer at minimum operating cost.

Academic Qualification & Experience

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5-6 years experience in production machine shop

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Hands on Experience of Honing, Induction hardening, Cylindrical Grinding, CNC (fanuc control), SPM (Fine Boring & gun drill),Cutting tool geometry, Robot programming & trouble shooting

Behavioural Skills

Problem Solving and Decision making skills
Manpower handling skills
Communication skill
