Line In-charge Final Inspection

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
(A)- To inspect vehicle quality as per customer requirement
• 100 % Vehicle inspection as per plan.
• Rider pass
• Percentage of audit adherence and reduction in NG parameters.
1. Adherence to product and Process audit.
2. Sampling and despatch audit index.
3. PIST of Stripe test
4. Weight of Millipore
5. HQI Index


• No defect and Delay in new model
• No NC in IMS internal and external audits
(B)-• Consumption control of resources to meet budgeted variable cost for Shop.
• Productivity vehicle/man/shift
• Daily tracking of consumable issuance and monthly making of PR for indented material.
• Consumable Cost (Rs./Veh)
• Rejection cost(Rs/veh)
(C)- • To ensure safe activity & condition in my area for a healthy environment.
• Safety audit adherence
• No injury
• No. of Near Miss recording and its closure % age
(D)- • Manpower Skill Enhancement at to ensure required competency availability in shop.
• Skill Certificate
• Skill Score (%)
• MIS preparation.
• Adherence to display board updating
(E)-• To communicate summary of final inspection process and product to management and other Stakeholders.
• Receiving of action plan for NG parameter from respective stakeholders.
(F)-• Ensure TPM activity implementation as per plan.
IMS Implementation

Updated Documents shall be used and available at point of usage and maintain documentation level as per the process requirement.
• Current JH Step and meeting with plant master plan.
• Adherence to JH Circle Activity board updating.
• Guidelines released from IMS DR / IMS Coordinator shall be implemented.
 

A Day in the life

As a Shift Line In charge – you will be a part of final Inspection department and will report to Section Head- Final Inspection
Your role will be tp manage final inspection process exists to ensure that a product or service meets all specified quality standards and customer requirements before it is delivered, thereby preventing defective items from reaching the market and upholding the manufacturer's reputation. It serves as the last critical checkpoint to verify conformance and minimize post-delivery issues.

Academic Qualification & Experience

• Diploma ( Mechanical/Automobile)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, and automotive industry

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Product, process & systems knowledge
• PFMEA & PQCT
• Problem Solving
• Audit competence
• Torque process , Lubrication points, Stack up tolerances for assembly
• Excellent in Excel, PPT
