Category Engineer-Sheet Metal

A purpose driven role for you

Your responsibilities include but not limited to-
1. Ensure inspection of incoming parts as per plan (BOP, Spare parts etc.)
2. Ensure Quality Sustenance & Improve Existing sheet metal suppliers/ components through Audits/QAVs , warranty analysis; benchmarking of best practices
3.Ensure Product, Process & System approval and establishment for smooth and trouble free development within stipulated time during New Model development

A Day in the life

You will be working on day-to-day basis on the following-
1. Generation of MIS/Report
2. Ensure closure of issues/deviations
3. Work with Manufacturing Quality for assembly line issues; Market Quality for field issues and various auditing agencies

Academic Qualification & Experience

1. Graduation/Diploma in Engineering
2. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in sheet metal parts manufacturing, and 3-5 years in an automotive firm
 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Product, process & systems knowledge (especially sheet metal, welding & fabrication parts)
2. Quality Planning
