Sr. Engineer - System Integration

A purpose driven role for you

The Role consist in leading the system integration team from technical and management point of view
o To steer the definition of the various electrical/electronic/mechanical interfaces, schematics or architecture, complete electrical communication matrix and come to a full fledge
o To develop EV & ICE project
o To supervise and lead cooperation EV & ICE projects
o To develop and optimize cross platform solution/working relationship/continuous interaction with development team and deliver with Quality in committed Time.
o To focus on: Project and system steering, EV & ICE System architecture, Coordination, Reporting

A Day in the life

System Integration Engineer
Steer the technical development of EV/ICE projects in EE department
Coordinate with EE COC and team member for proper alignment between project and design team.
Based on project inputs, steer the decisionfor the board-net to be used.
Develop platform approach in order to be usable in different project
Participate to the architecture definition.
Participate in mechanical layout discussions and align the all stake holders for the project requirement
Steer cooperation project interfacing with different model line and external partner.
Tracking of project/platform time plan according to project requirement.
Participate to definition and tracking of Benchmarking, FuSa Goals, security, Homologation etc.
Interface/connect/collaborate with several and different department.
Collect and track all the project level requirements.
Define comprehensive and fault free RASIC chart for the Electrical functions within EE department.
Support to the coordination of internal intersectional interdepartmental resources and coordinate the activities across different section in and out Hero.
Preparation of quality gate during different phase of the project,
Participate in IPC, SOR and test standard document
review.

~Trouble shooter and Field support engineer
Steering the team for trouble shoot the SW issues with Vehicle during the development phase
Make RCA and assign the task to components owners for improvements
Coordinates with Lab bike team to steer the developments
Coordinate with Vehicle Validation team to understand the problem, Do RCA and assign the task to component owners.
Support Plant, quality and Service team for trouble shooting during development phase.
Support service team after sales if problem is not resolved by them.

Academic Qualification & Experience

BTech/MTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Automotive or equivalent. Advanced Qualifications are an advantage.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Extensive knowledge in Electrical architecture of EV
Knowledge in ICE vehicles
Experience in SW development
Experience in vehicle SW integration
Knowledge of Project management
Knowledge in development and testing
Extensive knowledge in problem solving
Experience in coordination and steering of a EV project
Experience in Automotive communication tools like Vector
Experience in time planning and project tracking
Knowledge of main automotive process
Experience in reporting
Ability to communicate well through writing and be able to create flowcharts and diagrams
Experience in the field of system test development, and deployment of high volume applications.
Experience in working under time constraint and under pressure
Experience of System Integration methods and its checks
Expert in system level DFMEA
Expert in defining the communication matrix with priority status in the electrical system
