SW QA (Supplier and In-house)

A purpose driven role for you

o Ensure the quality for Software Product for VCU, BMS, TCU and processes meet company standards and customer expectations.
o Developing the software quality control processes to prevent defects and improve overall quality.
o Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and solution for software quality issues.
o Determining quality metrics for all the software development life cycle procedures
o To ensure safety and quality and procedures through rigorous inspections.
o Implementation of quality control measures and identification of areas for improvement

A Day in the life

SW developmwnt and QA
- Conduct Software Reviews and Audits
- Auditing of software provided by supplier and in-house software development
- Ensure compliance with software quality management systems through ASPICE and ISO 26262
- Collaborate with the R&D Team to develop new software products and processes
- Analyse data to identify quality trends and areas for improvement
- Monitoring the entire software production life cycle and identifying the process to detect the potential malfunctions as early as possible
- Review the existing blueprints and quality documentation
- To set and track the quality assurance goals
- To ensure legal compliance with coordination with external quality assurance if required

Academic Qualification & Experience

BTech/MTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Automotive or equivalent. Advanced Qualifications are an advantage.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Previous work experience as a quality engineer or similar role in Automotive industry
• Hands-on experience with quality management system
• In depth understanding of software life cycle and technical documentations
• Statistical analysis
• Knowledge of ISO 26262
• Additional certification in quality assurance is an added advantage
• Previous work experience as a quality engineer or similar role in Automotive industry
• Hands-on experience with quality management system
• In depth understanding of software life cycle and technical documentations
• Knowledge about Agile and V model.

Behavioural Skills

o Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
