FuSa Hardware Engineer

A purpose driven role for you

o To Contribute Hardware Functional Safety for Automotive Embedded System and Power Electronic products concerning the new generations of ICE / EV / HEV / BEV Systems.
o In Continuous interaction with Hardware, Software, System Integrator and Testing team you will Contribute the Functional Safety Hardware requirements as per the standards ISO 26262-5 /IEC 61508
o Mainly focus on: Contribute Functional safety hardware as per ISO 26262-5 for maintaining the complete Hardware Functional safety concern critical sections like Define safety strategy for Random hardware failure, Failure rate, system safe states and its transition and perform failure
analysis for interfaces (FMEA ,FTA,HAZOP, HARA, FSC, FSR, TSR, HSR etc.)

A Day in the life

~Contribute and Implement Hardware Functional Safety Requirements ~Debugging, problem solving and Implementation of Corrective measures. ~Preparing Hardware Functional safety Records and Testing Data

Academic Qualification & Experience

BTech/MTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Automotive or equivalent. Advanced Qualifications are an advantage.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Functional safety ISO 26262-5 Hardware design
guidelines for Hardware Unit Test ,Integration Test and
Final Board Level Functional Test for Hardware
Robustness
Working Knowledge FuSa Hardware Tools: Medini
Analyze, PTC ILM, Doors.
Knowledge of hardware failure analysis and prepare
strategy for protecting Random Hardware Faults as per
ISO 26262-5
Understanding of Automotive Standards & Functional
Safety. E.g. ISO 26262-5 , IEC 61508
Knowledge of HSI and Hardware Related Faults
mitigation capture through FuSa Hardware Guidelines
Knowledge of communication protocol like CAN,
Modbus as well as SPI, I2C, LIN, K-LINE
Knowledge about Agile and HDLC V model.
Knowledge of HW build process
