Senior Engineer - Safety

A purpose driven role for you

Candidate will be part of a team focusing on the simulation of rider safety analysis in accident scenarios. A critical requirement is understanding the significance of rider safety and the key design elements contributing to it. The role involves independently performing preprocessing (meshing) and safety simulation (analysis) activities to accurately assess rider safety.

A Day in the life

Conduct independent Virtual Simulations to assess Rider Safety and the efficacy of safety solution gears under various vehicle accident scenarios.
Analyze the RASSI database to define appropriate virtual load cases tailored to Indian two-wheeler accident conditions.
Evaluate rider injury indices to assess the effectiveness of proposed rider safety solutions.
Determine and recommend optimal design parameters to enhance overall rider safety.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B. Tech/M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from reputed Institute
6-10 Years

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Understanding of vehicle crash under accidental conditions
Rider injury index analysis like CHIC,HIC etc. in virtual simulation
Knowledge of ISO13232, Rider Safety and Protective solutions (Airbag, Lap strap, Helmet etc.), CAE Software - LS Dyna, Experience in Humanetics
