Role

Engineer - Safety Regulation

A purpose driven role for you

Study, interpret & present technical regulatory documents and prepare the technical proposals on safety related subjects
Regulatory Document Tracking, updates & compilation.
Resolve regulatory query & guide design counterparts.
Prepare Interpretation document summary & sharing with relevant stakeholders.
SIAM meeting preparation for2WG, CMVR safety etc.
Keep the progression records of all regulations to track and monitor changes introduced from time to time and its impact on HMCL business and product development

A Day in the life

Study of Domestic & Global Standards.
Analysis of IS & AIS standards with EU Regulations, UN Regulations & GTRs.
Participation in panel meetings for discussion on relevant topics, thorough study of standards for preparation of comments on the topics for finalization (SIAM 2W Group Meeting,
Keep update of regulations through various available portals.
Dissemination of worldwide regulation related queries within Organization.

Academic Qualification & Experience

BE-(Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering)

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Knowledge of Automobile Engineering/ Internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, Electrical Vehicle
Well conversant with AIS & IS standards.
Knowledge of European Regulations, AIS and CMVR rules.
Experience of Indian Type Approval.
Ability to multitask to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to prioritize as per the requirements within strict deadline while adhering the regulatory norms.
Ability to proactively identifying and managing regulatory and compliance issues for easy going Type Approval.
Expertise in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Project.

Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work within and with the team.
