EDD- Program Manager

A purpose driven role for you

Provide product specific and project wise - technical input and coordinate and guide the project teams consisting of engine design, testing and development engineers in the specific segment of the respective Model Line. This may be Scooter, Series Engines, New Models in motorcycles

A Day in the life

Represent the respective Model Line in all engine related issues within and outside ED
Support definition of new engine concepts and upgrades in the Model Line
Overall coordination of all Model Line related projects
Support buildup of relevant domain expertise within ED
Facilitate in time completion of all project tasks at best quality level, escalate if at risk
Collaborate/integrate with all related departments and partners
Lead/support for the early identification of issues and resolution through 8D methodology.
Support to ensure all the deliverables are achieved within time and well documented as per agreed templates.

Academic Qualification & Experience

BTech or MTech from renowned institute
Project management/Management courses
 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Hands on expertise in design or development
Understanding modern engine development process
Understanding and experience in design methodology with frontloading
Expertise in design for cost and production
Expertise in problem solving.
Expertise in record keeping and reporting.
Expertise of working in a global context and across continents
Knowledge of IT resources/hardware needed
