ALM/Requirements Manager

A purpose driven role for you

o To create comprehensive software and test requirements for components concerning the new generations of ICE / EV / HEV Systems.
o In Continuous interaction with Software, and testing team.
o Mainly focus on: Create software requirement for ECUs

A Day in the life

Software Requirement
- Organizes and leads the review process of software requirements.
- Implements the Requirements Plan (Metrics Concepts, Traceability Concept, Document Structure, Requirements Structure etc.).
- Has full ownership of the software Requirements and acts as the first contact.
- Support the software Architect to understand the software requirements.
- Support the software architect to trace the requirements into Architecture.
- Supports the software Architect to implement the software Requirements into Architecture.
- Supports software Test team to write software Test Cases & define Validation Criteria.
- Supports the analysis of the change requests/defects from requirements point of view and provides effort estimates.
- Actively pursue cost saving ideas.
- Works with Engineering Program Management to provide feasibility and planning information.
- Oversees and supports life cycle engineering activities using defined processes and standards.
- Participates in internal and external technical reviews, as required.
- Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
- Aware of Automotive-SPICE Standard.
- Develop according to Requirement management
- Able to develop CAN Simulation/dbc files from CAN Matrix, Knowledge in using Vector CAN tools (like CANalyzer, CANoe), ETAS-INCA,etc.

Preparing Design Records and Testing Data
- SW Unit Testing and Validation Plan
- Prepare concise documentation of ECU software tests that verify and validate the functionality.
- Test case preparation through test automation approach
- Perform the software testing using CAN simulation tools Iike CAPL

Academic Qualification & Experience

BTech/MTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Automotive or equivalent. Advanced Qualifications are an advantage.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Several years of experience in embedded software development is required.
Experience with AUTOSAR Relevant experience with architecture tools for
AUTOSAR or other OS
Knowledge of requirements for software development processes according to Spice or CMMI
Knowledge about CAN Simulation/dbc files from CAN Matrix, Knowledge in using Vector CAN tools (like CANalyzer, CANoe), ETAS-INCA,etc.
Understanding of Automotive Standards & Functional Safety. E.g. ISO 26262, MISRA Quality of software, MAAB (M automotive advisory board)
Experience with MATLB / Targetlink, Experience with DOORS
Experience of working in ASPICE process capability maturity model, good experience in V-model development process.
Knowledge of communication protocol like CAN, Modbus as well as SPI , LIN , K-LINE
