Role

As a Section Head - Engine Plant Maintenance, you will report to the Plant Maintenance Head. You will be responsible for managing the Team Managers - Engine Plant Maintenance and effectively managing the maintenance activities in the Engine Plant.

A purpose driven role for you

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Improve the equipment efficiency by minimising breakdown loss
• Optimizing maintenance cost
• Strengthening the PM Pillar activities 
• People development to enhance the skills
• Strengthening of Daily Work Management
• To achieve IMS and EnMS objectives through establishment and adherence of systems and procedures for resource conservation in section

A Day in the life

• Analysis of breakdowns and management actions
• Life enhancement of machine components
• Horizontal development of the kaizens
• Adherence of Preventive Maintenance Schedule
• Deploying 7 steps of planned maintenance technique to achieve zero break down
• Listing Training need identification and its execution

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 12-14 years of relevant experience in maintenance

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Knowledge of CNC and PLC troubleshooting
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical maintenance/spare parts planning
• TPM
• FMEA
• Knowledge of Maintenance budgeting

Behavioural Skills

• Good communication skills
• Manpower handling skills
• Good presentation skills
• Leadership skills
