Team Member- IBL

A purpose driven role for you

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
1. Inbound Operations: Manage end-to-end inbound logistics operations and transportation cost activities.
2. Service Excellence: Oversee 3PL (Third Party Logistics) activities to ensure smooth operational flow.
3. Continuous Improvement: Drive cost improvement projects and monitor section KPIs.

A Day in the life

You will be working on day-to-day basis on following:
1. End-to-End Logistics: Forecasting transportation requirements, ordering, and managing invoice processing.
2. MIS & Tracking: Preparing and tracking daily MIS for truck movements across all inbound services.
3. Negotiation & Sourcing: Coordinating and negotiating with transport suppliers for special logistics requirements.
4. Performance Monitoring: Tracking section KPIs to identify and drive operational improvements.
5. 3PL Oversight: Managing the daily functioning of 3PL partners to ensure service adherence.
6. Cost Initiatives: Identifying and executing projects aimed at reducing logistics service costs.
7. Internal Liaison: Collaborating with internal teams including VD (Vendor Development), SC (Supply Chain), and Logistics.

Academic Qualification & Experience

1. Education: MBA.
2. Experience: 4-5 Years.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis for logistics and cost monitoring.
2. MS Office: Advanced proficiency for report generation and MIS tracking.
3. Logistics Forecasting: Ability to predict and plan transportation requirements.
4. Vendor Management: Skilled in coordinating with logistics service providers.
5. KPI Tracking: Understanding of metrics used to measure inbound logistics performance.

Behavioural Skills

1. Team Player: Working effectively within the operating network of various departments.
2. Pressure Handling: Maintaining performance in a high-volume logistics environment.
3. Negotiation Skills: Ability to secure best terms from transport suppliers.
4. Self-Initiative: Driving cost improvement and efficiency projects independently.
5. Result Orientation: Ensuring 100% adherence to forecasting and ordering indices.
