Short Description

Hero MotoCorp aspires to be a dominant player in the global 2-wheeler markets. For HMCL to achieve its ambitions, the role of Lead Business Development is extremely important. The incumbent will be responsible for execution of GTM plans for existing/new markets, work on identified business opportunities for global business in terms of new market entry, electric vehicles and product launches.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Market Entry & Business Expansion

- Responsible for HMCL’s market entry into new geographies through existing petrol or electric vehicles.

2. Execution of Go-To-Market plans for Electric Vehicles

- End-to-end GTM plans including sales strategy, service strategy, market entry plan, on-boarding distributors/business partners, marketing, distribution, building capabilities through hiring, compliance in local countries and consumer proposition through direct to consumer model.

3.  New Opportunities & Projects

- Identifying new product/market opportunities for HMCL for growth

 

Skills Information

-In-depth understating of the global automotive landscape

- Flair for business development, setting up new businesses, scaling up distribution and ability to identify opportunities.

-Leadership Skills, ability to work across CFTs, Business Acumen, Strategic thought leadership, good interpersonal skills, ability to manage complex situations, out of the box thinker, exposure to global markets, customer orientation, sensitivity to business plans/targets and a team player

- BE Engineering + MBA/PGDBM from Tier I/II Institute
