Role

As a Fleet Manager, you will be a part of the Sales team and will report to Lead- Fleet Operations.
The purpose of your role will be:
1. To ensure Developing Capacity Planning & adequate capacity of fleet at all plants to achieve Organization goals
2. To explore / improve the opportunity that exits enable financial / productivity improvement

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Daily fleet capacity planning - Plant wise and AO wise
2. Managing the fleet operations - tracking fleet movement, sharing monthly performance MIS with transporters, coordination with the insurance team
3. Manage the transit damage and control, ensuring quality and timely delivery
4. New Induction, Contract documentation and payment of transporters/vendors

A Day in the life

As the Fleet Manager, your day will start with the ensuring the developing capacity planning & adequate capacity of fleet at all plants to achieve organization goals. This role will will allow you to interact with the different stakeholders from internal to external and provide you an exciting opportunity to explore on how to make a difference in the logistics department of the organization.

Academic Qualification & Experience

- Graduate / Postgraduate/ MBA preferably in logistics
- 5 -6 yrs experience in outbound logistics and distribution

Technical Skills/Knowledge

- Technical/Commercial skills (DMS & SAP)
- Proficiency in MS Office(Advanced Excel)
- Data Interpretation and Analytics
- Knowledge of systems & processes at Hero & channel partner
- Stakeholder Management
