Role

The Key role of this Job is ensuring the Material management & GST compliances.

A purpose driven role for you

GST Compliances (Return Preparation & Audits)
Preparation & Filing of allocated GST returns such as GSTR 1 (Outward supply), GSTR 3B (Payment of tax), ITC 04 (Job work return), GST TDS return , Annual Return (GSTR 9 & GSTR 9C) etc.
Effective compliances & GST documentation:
• Determining the accurate GST liability & legitimate ITC with review of all transaction undertaken for the given period.
• Ensure no transaction left to be reported, proper verification of GST invoices of Inputs, Capital Goods, Services, Ineligible ITC, Nil Rated, Exempt etc.
• Ensure appropriate ITC reconciliation of 2Avs Books / 2B vs Books and disclosure of same in GSTR 3B.
• Ensure appropriate reversal of GST ITC as per the provisions of GST law.
• Do necessary follow-up with suppliers, service providers & channel partners for unreconciled invoices & payment of taxes (GSTR 3B).
• Ensure appropriate treatment of GST w.r.t Inventory write-off & Assets sold
• Preparation of GST invoice as and when required.
• Ensure appropriate management of material inward with relevant documentation. MIS & Reporting and Record Maintenance:
• Preparation of various MIS & reporting for the plant.
• Preparation of the information needed during the audit by the internal auditors, statutory auditors and GST department as & when required
System hygiene w.r.t GST & Automation:
• Interact with IT team for routine enhancements, process improvements and to fix the issues faced in production system.
• Periodic review of e-invoice applicability, master data w.r.t GST, HSN & GST rate maintained in SAP.
• Review & monitor the GST related reports & tools and ensure all such reports / tools are delivering result in desired manner.
• Support in testing of business process developments by way of invoicing, challan or any other automation projects.

Academic Qualification & Experience

BCOM or CA Semi Qualified
3 to 5 years

Technical Skills/Knowledge

● Well versed with GST provisions
● Updated knowledge on Changes under GST
● Proficient in MS-Excel, Word, PPT
