Role

Freedo team is looking for a Backend developer who can become a member of Freedo’s
core tech team. The role demands amazing coding skills with great analytical and problem
solving thinking. As a core member of the tech team you would be involved in multiple product
and platform developments which would strengthen the business presence of Freedo in Shared
Mobility.

A purpose driven role for you

● Design server-side architecture.
● Contribute to the development of APIs and products while working with a
cross-functional team of Product Manager, Designer, and other Developers
● Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
● Contribute to all aspects of an agile software development lifecycle including design,
architecture, development, documentation, testing, and operations
● Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
● Create security and data protection settings.
● Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
● Work with the DevOps teams to ensure a smooth, automated test and deployment for
the application.

A Day in the life

You would be working cross functionally with the business and product teams, helping in the
unification and integration of technologies from different domains such as IoT, CRM and Mobile
app.

Academic Qualification & Experience

• 4-7 years in relevant domain
• Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/M.C.A..
• Willingness to work in a startup ecosystem

Technical Skills/Knowledge

● Expert level understanding of NodeJS asynchronous runtime.

● Expert level understanding of Javascript concepts on callbacks and closures.
● Experience working with Typescript as a coding language for NodeJS and Express
Applications.
● Experience with Postgres, NoSQL, Redis, and Firebase Realtime database.
● Experience with AWS services like Elastic Beanstalk, Cloudfront, S3, EC2, Lambda, API
Gateway, SQS, etc.
● Experience with working on linux based deployments for applications. Should be handy
with basic linux commands for deployments and debugging of applications on the
server.
● Understanding of patterns and techniques for building scalable back-end infrastructure
including caching, rate limiting, authentication, and authorization schemes.
● Experience in building highly scalable and high throughput services with millisecond
response times.
● Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
