EXEC. CAPACITY PLANNING CELL
A purpose driven role for you
1.Capacity Readiness: Execute capacity planning to meet QCDM parameters and Annual Business Plan (ABP) targets.
2.Supply Fulfilment: Manage critical part procurement and balance supplies across plants to ensure 100% production fulfilment.
3.Risk Management: Identify supplier and part-level risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
A Day in the life
1.Action Identification: Developing capacity actions down to the sub-supplier level to meet production volumes.
2.Import Planning: Coordinating long-lead parts like e-components, bearings, and cast wheels for availability.
3.Asset Management: Periodic planning and development review of dies and moulds as per the production plan.
4.Inventory Control: Managing obsolescence and inventory during model changeovers or ECN implementations.
5.Quality Oversight: Ensuring supplier quality adheres to PQCS and zero IPPT violations.
6.Strategy Alignment: Aligning import sourcing strategies with local requirements during new model ramp-ups.
7.Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborating with Finance for approvals and S&D for supplier audits.
Academic Qualification & Experience
1.Education: Minimum B.Tech.
2.Experience: 12–15 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
1.Market Knowledge: Broad understanding of the market environment and technical trends.
2.Analytical Tools: Proficiency in Excel and PPT for data-driven planning.
3.Supply Chain Logistics: Understanding of import processes for long-lead BOP items.
4.Capacity Planning: Skill in designed vs. demand capacity fulfilment.
5.Inventory Management: Knowledge of ECN implementation and obsolescence management.
Behavioural Skills
1.High Aptitude: Strong mental agility to handle high variation in rolling plans.
2.Positive Attitude: Proactive approach toward problem-solving.
3.Team Work: Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
4.Coordination Skills: Managing complex distribution across multiple plants.
