Job Title - Development Engineer
A purpose driven role for you:
Approval & development of body parts ( plastic & rubber) / Mould development & approval with cycle time & run@rate along with finalisation of sub assy at supplier end for new model.
A day in the life

Approval and verification of new model parts as per the drawing and standards. Approval and verification of Supplier testing and validation m/c,/ fixtures & processes. Approval / verification & productionised the moulds at supplier end along with process establishments, process controls with fixtures for mass production & establish the run@rate. Analysing the part drawings and specifications to include all parameters required for new part development along with PFMEA & TFC closure. Support the design with stackup analysis / fit & finish / flushes & gaps study.

Complexities
Collaboration with cross functional teams i.e. Vendor development, Strategic sourcing, Supplier Quality assurance, R&D, Mfg. and SCPs to ensure the closure of issues raised and discrepancies.
Inspection and verification of complex parts and imported components.
Academic Qualification
B.TECH (MECH.), Diploma in tool & die making.
Relevant Experience, but not limited to:
Knowledge in Part Verification, Drawing Study/ reading, geometric symbols, check sheet preparation, machining symbols, assy. layout . New part development & awareness of PPAP.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
