Role

Managing, Designing and Implementation of enterprise applications at Onprem Data Center and Cloud with setting up the standard processes.

A purpose driven role for you

Onprem Data Center Management
Complete management of On prem Data Center includes day to day operations, troubleshooting issues and coordinating with partner teams
Directing and managing Nxtra Data Center Operations with proficient management of installed Servers, network resources, VMWare Cluster, TSM & Veeam backup solutions, among others maintain optimal performance and reliability.
Management of hardware infrastructure, including HPE and IBM HANA Servers, DS8800 Storage & other enterprise level storages, IBM Power Servers, Dell Nutanix Cluster, IBM Tape Library, EMC Storages, to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and data integrity.

Best Practices & Standardisation

Successfully creating polices and standard process for Cloud Infrastructure and associated plans based on industry-standard best practices
Streamline & Standardise Cloud workload posture
Management of third party vendors and suppliers.
Managing team of vendors for Onprem and Cloud and defining the scope
Review of on prem and cloud service providers
Coordination with in-house and partner teams
Creating Business cases and raising ISR for new and existing requirement’s
Governance & Compliance
ISO Audits for Onprem DC and Cloud Infrastructure (Azure and AWS)
Monitoring the billing of Azure and AWS Cloud
Implementing best practices to optimize the cloud resources
Maintaining security scores on the cloud infrastructure
Following best practices to safeguard the cloud infrastructure
DR Drills for enterprise applications
Successfully setup the common dashboard for Cloud Cost
Setting up practices for Billing control
Identifying, documenting and maintaining risk register & reporting
Third parties audit coordination

Cloud Operations (Azure Cloud)
Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, monitoring
Hands on Web apps, Function app, logic app, PaaS DBs(MYSQL, CosmosDB), APIM,
AKS, Key Vault and Azure network(Vnets, Subnets, Peering and UDRs, NAT gateways) and security services (Application gateway, WAF, Azure firewall).

Academic Qualification & Experience

BE (Any Stream)/MCA/M.SC-IT
Cloud Certification – Cloud Fundamentals & Admin and Architect, Any enterprise application on Cloud
10+Years’ experience in managing Enterprise Infrastructure in a production
Assessing & migrating workloads to cloud
 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Strong technical knowledge of cloud technologies & IT concepts (VMWare, HyperV, Microsoft Azure, GCP, AWS, etc)
Operating Systems (Linux, Solaris, Unix, Windows)
Understanding OpenStack deployments and integration
Previous experience designing and deploying solutions on Azure and/or AWS
Client/Server and Multi-tier Architectures
Communications and Networking Architectures
