Commodity Head-Electrical & Electronics

A purpose driven role for you

Your responsibilities include but not limited to-
1. Ensure timely addressal of internal & external customer issues related to electrical prop parts (Warranty, CID, BOSF, BOP, FI Defects, KD)
2. Strengthen supplier manufacturing capabilities to ensure defect free supplies at HMCL
3. Ensure 100% adherence of SQA processes such as (inspection system, problem solving system, NC closure & supplier upgradation) through DWM strengthening
4. Ensure development of new models by timely approval of product, process and system at suppliers
5. Review TFC , DFMEA, PFMEA and QAVs

A Day in the life

You will be working on day-to-day basis on the following-
1. Drive For Timely Execution Of Plan & Periodic Performance Review Suppliers
2. Execution Of Improvement Activities At Suppliers
3. Plan QAV Visits At Supplier End To Ensure Process Adherence & Verification Of Actions Done Against Non Conformities found at HMCL
4. Formulate and monitor KAI/KPI based on organization's ABP
5. Provide Inputs For Robust Design In New Model Parts Based On Existing Issues.
6. Evaluate New Model Part Drawings & assess Development Process
7. Inspection facility & other infrastructure development at HMCL
8. Work with stakeholders from other departments, like, Manufacturing Quality, Market Quality, GB and R&D to analyse problems and provide the solutions

Academic Qualification & Experience

1. Graduation in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
2. Minimum 15-20 years of experience in e-component manufacturing, and 10-15 years in an automotive firm

1. Product, process & systems knowledge (especially electrical & electronic proprietary parts)
2. Quality Planning

5. QC Tools knowledge
