Role

As the Team Manager you will be part of the Engine Assy - Quality Team and will report to the Section Head .

Your role will be:

Ensuring product quality of components as per desired standards & specification, to deliver defects free components to next customer by establishing zero defect condition & evaluating process parameters through audits. 

A purpose driven role for you

Your roles and responsibilities include:

Ensuring the process & product audit as per quality plant
To participate in New Models event (M1, PP1, PP2 & SOP) to identify the quality issue proactively and ensure elimination of issues before SOP. 
To verify the status of all the PTDBs issues in new model.
To participate in new model PFMEA & initiate actions according to Action priority.
To Prepare PQCT & check sheets for new model.
Analysis of non-conformance during audit and ensure timely closure.
Ensuring timely calibration of measuring instrument and gauges.  
To analyze the market issues, Prepare & Execute action plan for VTQI/warranty.
Ensure the adherence & effectiveness of warranty countermeasures.

Preparation & communication of MIS on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Shift wise manpower planning & deployment.
Participation in SIT/QCC in TEI.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.Tech/Diploma with work experience >3 years

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1.MS Office, SAP .
2. Understanding of Quality Systems , Usage of QC Tools , PFMEA , SPC , Why Why Analysis etc.
3. Through Knowledge of Drawings , GD&T , Machining operations .

4. Knowledge/ of quality tools like PFMEA, PFD, 5 Why Analysis & other problem solving tools.
5. Knowledge of machining process, technical capabilities of component drawing study.
6. Knowledge of Engine parts functioning & CTQs.

Behavioural Skills

1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
