Role

As the Section Head- AL Phase you will be part of the Plant Operations team and will report to the Production Head.
The purpose of your role will be to Manage the production operations as well as manpower to achieve targets in line with defined cost, quality & timeline standards. by ensuring safety guidelines adherence for the manufacturing setup.

2. Improve Product Quality by strengthening of DWM activities
3. Achieve Cost targets on shift basis
4. Improve Operational Efficiency by accelerating TPM activities on line
5. To improve and Sustain good relations with Team Members and ensure safe work Environment on line
6. Dealing with Flexible Manpower down the line.
7. Development & Engineering Activities for New Model I&C

A Day in the life

1. Sequential planning PQCDMS
2.Work Allocation to Shift In charges
3.machining throughput monitoring
4.Coordination with concern departments through DWM
5.Data recording, Analysis & Action plan
6.Multiskilling & TNI plan for Staff .
7. Review & control for tooling & equipment
8. Daily review of Shift in charges’ Process audit
9.Analysis & Countermeasures for Quality defects
10.Responsible for Straight pass to Engine Assy & Customer through SP & Warranty Analysis.
11.Ensuring Layerd Safety audits.
12. PDCA for near miss & Safety observations.
13. Behaviour Based safety
14. Analysis & PDCA for Consumable Cost
15. Analysis & PDCA for Rejection Cost
16. Analysis & PDCA for Tool Cost
17. Budgets proposals for Consumable, rejection, Tool, Capex & IDTL.
18. Ensure TPM implementation as per road Map
20. IMS implementation & Best practices adherence through ISO 9001-2015 , ISO 14001-2015 , ISO 45001-2018 , ISO 5001-2018

Academic Qualification & Experience

BE Mechanical / Electrical with 13-15 years experience in auto sector machine shop operations & department running

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Fanuc Robodrill Hands on Experience
2. Fanuc CNC Programming Experience
3. Fanuc Robot Hand On Experience
4. Working Experience of 2 Wheeler Cylinder Head Or Crank Case Machining
5. Experience of Cutting tools & related techmogies.

Behavioural Skills

1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills
4. Behavioral Based Safety Approach
