Role

Lead Product Planner is the driving force behind the development of our next generation of motorcycles, from initial concept to market launch. You serve as the custodian of model competitiveness, leading the development of future product plans, including specifications, variants, and trims.
You will continuously analyze market dynamics, evolving customer requirements, and changing technology trends to build a unified vision for product positioning, pricing, and volumes. By working cross-functionally, you will ensure our products meet customer needs, outperform the competition, and achieve our business goals, ultimately positively impacting the organization's P&L by supporting robust business cases and driving volume growth.

A purpose driven role for you

-Lead the creation of Initial Product Concepts (IPC) and define the targets for new models:
1. Conducting static and dynamic evaluations of competitor models from a
customer perspective.
2. Analyzing key learnings and feedback from our previous models.
3. Collaborating with stakeholders to propose and finalize benchmark targets for new models, ensuring they're
- SPOC coordinating with key departments to ensure product deliverables and business targets are met.
1. Providing essential inputs for the business case and striving for a healthy profit and loss (P&L) statement for the organization.
2. Unifying the voice on product and pricing strategies across all field functions, in both India and our global markets.
3. Conducting hands-on product evaluations throughout the development process to ensure the motorcycle is built to the set targets.
-Define market research requirements and identifying unmet customer needs.
1. Collaborating with our research teams on all research activities.
2. Support capturing customer requirements and technology trends, then translating them into actionable product inputs.
3. Conducting dealership visits and interacting with customers directly to capture valuable product feedback and improvement points.

Product Concept must reflect the customer requirements and ensure a winning product Competitive target setting
Pricing Strategy for new models and quarterly price revisions
Alignment of all stakeholders before each gate in the PDX process
Detailed reflection of customer and segment needs into product and
solution proposed

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.E./ B.Tech
 MBA preferred
 Minimum 3 years Hands on experience in Product Planning and Development, Market Research, Product Management.
 8 to 12 years of Total Work experience in marketing /product planning/business planning

Technical Skills/Knowledge

- Very strong data analysis, presentation skills and Business acumen
- Good in stakeholder management

Behavioural Skills

-Should have Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills incl. conflict management
-Should be a good team-player
