We are seeking a dynamic and strategic candidate to contribute to shaping policies impacting the automotive sector enabling Hero to retain its leadership position.
A purpose driven role for you
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Affairs Policy, Monitoring, Advocacy, and Advisory Manager to spearhead strategic initiatives, engage with regulatory bodies, and drive policy advocacy efforts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and influencing regulatory policies while providing expert advice to support the company's interests.
A Day in the life
**Policy Development:** Research, analyze, and develop policy proposals in alignment with the company's objectives, keeping abreast of relevant regulations and industry developments
**Advocacy and Engagement:** Engage with government bodies, industry associations, and stakeholders to advocate for favorable policies and represent the company's interests in discussions, forums, and consultations.. Advisory Role- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, analyze their impact on the company, Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management on policy implications, potential risks, and opportunities in regulatory environments.
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with government officials, policymakers, and external stakeholders to influence decision- making processes positively.
**Monitoring and Compliance:** Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, assess their impact on the organization, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
**Collaboration and Coordination:** Collaborate cross- functionally with internal teams, including legal, Comms & CSR, Investor relations, and finance, to align policy initiatives and advocacy efforts with business goals.
Academic Qualification & Experience
-- Bachelors degree in Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
Masters degree preferred.
- MBA preferred
Extensive experience within the automotive industry, corporate affairs, or public policy.
Auto Industry experience is a must
Technical Skills/Knowledge
Excellent Project Management, Policy Analysis, Research and Analytics, Customer Relationship Management, Good knowledge of MS Office. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Understanding of the Indian media landscape
Behavioural Skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work independently, navigate complex environments, and drive results in a fast-paced industry.
