Role

Support the Finance Function of Vadodara manufacturing facility by optimising the resources available and ensure to meet all the deadlines and compliance with accuracy.

A purpose driven role for you

1) Procure to Pay & Record to Report–
a. Day to day activities: -
i. Ensuring the timely payment to vendors in adherence to internal policies
ii. Monitoring vendor reconciliations on regular basis
iii. Monitoring the booking of plant related costs e.g., manpower costs;
manufacturing costs; overheads etc.
iv. Invoice Verification including timely payments to vendors as per standard operating procedures of the company
v. Fixed asset management
vi. Monitoring of the monthly/ quarterly material provisions for price amendments
vii. Coordination for statutory audit, tax audit and internal audit
viii. Preparation of audit schedules and timely closing of books
ix. Plant level Kaizen
b. Statutory Compliances: -
i. MSME Compliances
ii. GST Compliance w.r.t ITC, 180 days’ payment compliance, filing of GSTR returns on due
dates etc.
iii. Ensuring proper TDS Deduction and TCS collection as per Income Tax Act
c. DOA Compliances and Internal Controls: -
i. Ensuring that all transactions comply with Delegation of Authority (DOA) without any
exception
ii. Regular monitoring of vendor debit and credit balances including ageing of advances given to vendors and clearing of the same

1) Other Monthly work and MIS –
a) Preparation of Cost Audit related reports
b) Analysis of BOM cost of 2 wheelers
c) Analytics on various costs e.g. Manufacturing Variable Costs & Operational Overheads etc.
and liaising with different operational department to understand and control the same
d) Preparing the profitability on a monthly basis
2) Projects –
Involvement in various cost optimization, process automation projects as well as miscellaneous projects such as plant finance compliance checklist, sale & purchase trend etc.
