Role
This role supports in building government relations, advocacy, and representation efforts. Responsibilities include
cultivating strategic partnerships and providing insights for engagement with regulatory bodies. By analyzing
policy shifts, the position helps leverage developments and executes action plans to enhance the organization’s
reputation among key stakeholders (internal and external). Through diligent coordination and communication, the
role ensures interests are accurately represented across industry forums, upholding the organisation image and
reputation.

Support in Coordination/Alignment between Government Agencies and Organization on policy matters as well as on
the timing, which impact Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (HMCL)positioning
Conflict /Resolution/Relationship Management on issues that impact HMCL and its business negatively
A Day in the life
• Support in Developing appropriate Corporate Affairs strategies, programmes, and policies for all stakeholders.
• Assist in managing the dissemination of information with targeted publics in line with the corporate mission and vision.
• Monitor and analyse policies which may impact the organization’s operation. Analyse alternatives and recommend appropriate action.
• Coordinate various representations of the organization and government interaction and prepare a company viewpoint at taking into account the perspective of advocacy.
● Advise on the communication implications for the organization’s plans and prepare actions which could affect the organization.
• Develop crisis management strategies to alleviate crisis situation.
• Advise on key strategic communications to uphold a positive image and reputation for the organisation aligning with the senior management
Academic Qualification & Experience
Post graduate , preferably master with specialization in Govt. Relations & Policy Advocacy
15+ years of experience handling policy matters.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
Influencing, Relationship Management
Negotiations, Understanding of Legislations and its impact
Behavioural Skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with an ability to network and interact at all levels. Critical thinking & Problem solving.
