Role
As Category Head you will be part of the Marketing Function and will report to the Head- Marketing
The purpose of your role will be to strategize, plan, develop & monitor the marketing initiatives for the product brands under each category & across each brand’s life cycle to enhance market share and strengthen the brand visibility. Additionally the role incumbent also leverage customer services as a key buying factor and thus plan marketing strategy to promote brand preference

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Define market opportunity and attractiveness, Size, Competition, Gaps & Trends
2. Analyse the competitive market environment with reference to customer profile / aspirations, demographics (younger profiles), product mix, etc.
3. Devise strategy for portfolio handled – leverage innovative marketing opportunities
4. Identify and create alignment for growth strategies, market wise product wise by arresting MS declines and accelerating MS gains
5. Direct & monitor the marketing initiatives for an impactful execution
6. Conceptualization & development of the consumer engagement plans
7. Leverage opportunities for brand strengthening

Academic Qualification & Experience
- B.Tech & MBA with core specialization in Marketing
- 15+ Years of experience in Brand management, communication & strategy development, people management
Technical Skills/Knowledge
-Understanding and working knowledge of Qualitative Market Research techniques
-Understanding of customer behaviour in different parts of country
-Research oriented, with an ability to sense consumer behaviour and driven by "consumer first" approach
-Adept at strategizing, implementing and optimizing marketing campaigns with a strategic focus on long term brand objectives
Behavioural Skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
-Ability to coach and mentor teams effectively
-Negotiation Skills,
-Creative mindset
-Collaborator and ability to deal with ambiguity
