Role

As the TM - Production engineering you will be part of the Plant Operations and will report to the Section Head - PE.

The purpose of your role will be to do infrastructure & process planning for Weld Shop (Fuel Tank & Frame Body weld shop) & Paint Shop. You will do the Capex Project Implementation in terms of Safety, Quality, Productivity & Cost improvement, Any New model introduction - process planning & infra planning will also be part of the job.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

1.Manage Paint Shop & Weld shop, Export for new model production to timely launch & to meet market demand
2. Paint & Weld Shop, Export section Capacity for the production as per the model mix to meet Central planning requirement
3.Execution of Capex, Improvement Projects to achieve the Projects saving
4. Execute the IDTL procurement and monitoring its cost at plant level.

A Day in the life

Respective area (Weld Shop & Paint Shop) process, infrasturcture planning & new model events execution. Maintain related documentation. Shop floor improevement. Quality Poka Yokes implemenation.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.E / B.Tech - Mechanical (4 to 8 Years of Experience) with relevant experience of Production engineering in Paint & Weld shop in any manufacturing industries and good exposure in projects

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Good knowledge of Welding & Painting process
2. Hands on experience on Fixture Maintenance, Fixture improvement
3. RFQ preparation, Ordering & Installation & Commissioning experience
4. Good knowledge of Robot Programming for welding/painting
5. AutoCAD, CATIA
6. PLM, SAP knowledge
7. Negotiation skill
