Role

As the Team Manager - Machine Shop (Steel Phase) you will be part of the Operations and will report to Section head - Machine Shop & Engine Assembly
The purpose of your role will be to achieve production Targets as per production plan and setups change over in Steel components.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Achieve the production plan ( Quality and Quantity)in order to meet the requirement of PPC plan
2. Controlling and improving rejection cost , consumable cost , Tool cost
3. Create a conducive , harmonious & safe work environment to facilitate smooth operations
4. Improve OEE, Cycle time reduction , Promote TPM

A Day in the life

Preparation of Manpower as per planning. Maintain check on process parameters of Critical equipment . Production planning of Shift in line with PPC plan. Maintain Product and process Quality requirement. Documentation and reporting of Production

Academic Qualification & Experience

1. B.Tech / B.E in mechanical Engg with 2 to 8 Years of Experience
2. Diploma in Mechnical Engg with 9 to 15 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. MS Office, SAP & Lotus notes.
2. 5S, TPM, SPC & TPS
3. Machinery Knowledge
4. Knowledge Breakdowns & abnormalities rectification of Equipment
5. Material Handling of critical / sophasticated parts
6. Safety protocols expoaue for handling of electronics parts

Behavioural Skills

1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills
4. Behavioral Based Safety Approach
5. planning and decision making.
