Role

As the Section Head - Business Excellence you will be part of the Operations and will report to the Plant Head. The purpose of your role will be to Oversee & Lead business excellence initiatives like TPM, Lean manufacturing, IMS, Hero NEXT, Sustainability, Innovation, Technical capability building and deploy improvement projects across the  plants to ensure operational excellence initiatives reduce cost, improve quality and enhance efficiency across the value chain. Also Identify & Implement the Best Manufacturing Practices at Plant to achieve Operational Excellence through use of World Class tools & techniques like TPM.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Drive Operations Excellence for the Tirupati Plant by focusing on Top Projects, Top Tasks  & Plant performance score card
- Ensure implementation of TPM activities in Plant as per JIPM Roadmap to achieve Operational Excellence & TPM Awards for Tirupati Plant
- Audit TPM Activities in Plant to achieve Plant Objectives (Plant KMIs & Pillar KPIs – KAIs)
- Promote visual factory & 
promote Total employee Involvement 

A Day in the life

Lead business excellence initiatives like TPM, Lean manufacturing, IMS, Hero NEXT, Sustainability, Innovation, Technical capability building and deploy improvement projects across the  plants to ensure operational excellence initiatives reduce cost, improve quality and enhance efficiency across the value chain. Also Identify & Implement the Best Manufacturing Practices at Plant to achieve Operational Excellence through use of World Class tools & techniques like TPM.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B. Tech/BE (Mechanical/Automobile Engg.) & Certifications of Lean Six sigma, TPM, 5S etc., with 14 – 16 years of experience in automobile industry in leading TPM, IMS, 5S & plant level projects
