As a Product Analyst, you'll be part of EMBU and will report to Head-Energy Infrastucture.

A purpose driven role for you

The Lead for the Charging Management System (CMS) will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining the CMS platform. This system is crucial for managing and monitoring Charging Operations on VIDA FC Network as well as Community Charging Network, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and driving operational excellence. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software, hardware, and network solutions. Additionally, they will address real-time troubleshooting, resolve bugs, and optimize performance.

A Day in the life

1. CMS Development and Architecture:-
- Design, develop, and maintain the Charging Management System (CMS) to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Lead the architecture and design for real-time monitoring and control of charging stations.
- Ensure compliance with the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) and integrate other industry standards.

2. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:-
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software and hardware integration issues in real-time.
- Develop monitoring tools and alerts to proactively detect and address system anomalies.
- Drive continuous improvement by analysing the root causes of bugs and implementing preventive measures.

3. System Integration and Testing:-
- Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration between the CMS and charging stations.
- Oversee system testing, debugging, and validation to deliver a reliable and robust CMS.
- Manage the integration of third-party services, such as payment gateways and analytics platforms.

4. Team Management:-
- Work closely with Roll-Out Managers, Operation & Maintenance Teams, hardware teams, and business stakeholders to align the CMS with business goals and customer needs.
- Will report to Head-Charging Infra on a day-to-day basis and collaborate with DIT.

5. Data Analytics and Insights:-
- Build data pipelines to collect and analyse charging session data for insights on performance and user behaviour.
- Develop predictive analytics to enhance system reliability and optimize energy usage.

6. Compliance and Security:-
- Ensure the CMS adheres to data privacy regulations, cybersecurity best practices, and industry standards.
- Implement robust security frameworks to protect user and operational data. This system is crucial for managing and monitoring Charging Operations on VIDA FC Network as well as Community Charging Network, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and driving operational excellence. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software, hardware, and network solutions. Additionally, they will address real-time troubleshooting, resolve bugs, and optimize performance.

Academic Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Automobile OEM's / Charge Point Operators (CPO's)/ CMS Integration Companies

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Over 6-8 years of experience in producy management/ operations/ debugging on CMS, including 2 or more years in a lead role;
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues by analyzing root causes of bugs and implementing preventive measures.
- Knowledge on EV Charging Operations;
- Knowledge on OCPP and other EV-related communication protocols;
- Knowledge on Vehicle Charging Flow & its protocols;
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and practices related to IoT systems.
