Through its 'Emerging Mobility Business Unit' (EMBU) Hero MotoCorp is now building future-focused products, services, and technologies that can benefit the world. EMBU is exploring all possibilities, including EVs, which will be appropriate for the evolving customer preferences and aim to be a change agent in the future global mobility space. As a central pillar of the company's future-ready strategy, a new brand, Vida - Powered by Hero, will lead the mobility transformation across the world. Vida means life, and the brand’s sole purpose is to create a positive impact on the world and move us all forward in meaningful ways. The company's initiatives for emerging mobility solutions will be introduced under Vida, the first of which will be an electric vehicle that will be unveiled in 2022. The production of the new Vida model will be done at Hero MotoCorp’s ‘Green’ manufacturing facility in Chittoor, India.
